More Video Card Errors

Yes, I’m aware that there has been several posts on this subject already, but having tried out the other methods I found through searching I decided to ask the simply brilliant Freelancer Community directly.
When I run freelancer it gives me the infamous “you do not have a 3d video card” error. I am using a GTX - 550-ti and I have had no luck whatsoever with any of the existing fixes on the Starport.
I have been fiddling with the flconfigdatabase.txt file with absolutely no luck, I have been using the following values for my graphics card and Nvidia;
0x1244 = “GeForce GTX 550”
and
Vendor = 0x10DE “nVidia”Any help would be really appreciated as Freelancer is one of my all time favorite games.

What exactly happens if your card isn’t recognized and you hit that little checkbox to say ignore and continue (don’t ask me again?)
My cards haven’t shown up in years. When FL first starts I get that error and then choose that selectbox and continue. I never see it again and I’ve never thought of it again. What exactly am I missing by not having a recognized card?
