heres my system i built it myself. i plan on going sli with two gtx 660ti soon -
hm… my “computer” is barely anything better than some calculator by specs, so i guess that doesn’t count

It’s not a pc rather a power station… and you want a gtx660ti sli… hope freelancer will be able to run well on that.

FL doesn’t really like multi-GPU setups, but fortunately SLI and CFX can both be disabled so it’s not really an issue.
Plus, it’s not like FL could really benefit from that much horsepower.

Tried SLI twice, back in the day with two 7900gtx and then with two 260gtx. I came to the conclusion that it’s just a waste of money and power consumption when all is said and done. There was some sense back then because 1900 x 1200 wasn’t the standard benchmark for gaming and you needed the horsepower, but now, your 660ti will cope with anything 1900 x 1200 so long as you don’t want a shed load of msaa.
Unless you’ve simply got the bug and have to try it, or you’ve got a multi monitor setup, save your cash for something else or the next gen. If it eventually becomes necessary a year down the line they will be lots cheaper by then too, so at least wait for a better price.
