Crash when trying to save the game?? What can be the cause?
-
In all my years of FL editing I’ve never had the game crash when trying to save.
I’m familiar with all types of crashes, and usually know how to troubleshoot them. But in this case I’m baffled.
Actually the mod ain’t too big yet. And I wasn’t playing that long. I just moved from my travelling hub system to NY, in which I plan to move things around, so I docked at New Ark. Docking went fine, but when trying to save, the game CTD’ed…
There ain’t too much in the Spew either (removed double entries) :

FL ErrorChecker found a sh*tload of errors; it is not unlikely some of these trigger an error at some critical point.
Stuff like that happens when try to revive a years-old, more or less abandoned project
EDIT in this particular case it was because I hadn’t point FL ErrorChecker to my FL root directory

After some error checking, finding nothing that could have triggered it, and changing nothing, the error doesn’t show up anymore.
Must have been some quantum fluctuation.
