Decoding nicknames
-
I’ve been meaning to ask for a while, and the A.S. topic (and reading the history again) has finally prompted me to do so. Any idea what [c]fc[/c] means for the criminal factions? I think of it as faction criminal, but that doesn’t seem to fit with the others (edit: maybe it’s fugitive/criminal). Anyway, here’s the list of factions (even if most should be reasonably obvious, at least for English speakers), perhaps other types will come later…

Blood Dragons was Black Dragons.
Terraform, Inc. is correct.
About Daumann, I would also go with the speculation for Krüger.
For Gateway I just could speculate for New Gate Shipping or something like that. New Galaxy Shipping?
fc_uk_grp - I would say it means just “Unknown”.For ALG I just used Google and found “Abfall Logistik Gesellschaft”. While this is a real existing company, the name (Waste Logistics Company) might fit very good. Maybe the writers had the idea of saying ALG is one of those names where everyone already forgot about what it stands for, just calling it ALG now (since it is one of the oldest Rheinland companies).

@Skotty: went with all that, but it’s [c]nw[/c], not [c]ng[/c], which gave me the idea for New World. (BTW, all the English text has Kruger, does German have Krüger? Actually, I have the German text, let’s see…why, yes it does, how about that.)
@corpse: Interesting (well, not really), the planets are [c]uk[/c] but the NPCs are [c]or[/c].

I think
uk
is just some random / testing faction, they (Game maker) too lazy to delete it, instead, they gives a planet to them and make it a surprise. And the
fc
thing. Isfamous criminal
orfactional criminals
valid in English?Or may be
fc
is just a short for f_c_.
