New private message notification

It would be nice if you could add a better visualization for new privates messages (maybe something like the new cookie notification).

You should be able to see that you’ve got a new message without scrolling (and searching for a small red (x).

I re-arranged the order on the left panel a little and also removed some not-really-used sections. It’s now back on the top so it should be easier to spot.

I keep seeing a red 1 in my inbox but when I click there are no new messages. There’s only one there so is it that that is the ‘1’?

I’ve been seeing 4 messages for years and nothing there but, when I see 5, there is.
