Help on Intro wav
-
I’m looking for the first audio file of the intro.
I’m talking about the voice acting when the Freeport 7 get attacked.I’m working on translating and dubbing (with AI) the game in Italian, but I can’t find the first part of the intro, while the second (mix_s002xe.wav) is already done.
Thank you in advice

Oh, I know I’m very in late, but with Audacity all you need to export audio file is to set Wav format, mono
Sample Rate at 22050hz
Encoding Signed 16-bit PCMAlso there a very useful tool, I use ElevenLabs (it’s an AI) to generate the voices, which are saved as MP3, but with Kabuu Audio Converter i can transform all the audio file with one click directly in PCM wav at 22050 and 16 Bit
Another note in case anyone is interested on editing the existent audio files without messing with the cut scene, it’s imperative to keep the same time length or you scene will be messed up and the voices gets overlapped.

Thanks, I’ve found it, the intro is ready and I’ve learned a bunch about the file structure, and more I’ve to study xD

I noticed that in the intro of fp7setscene.utf there are some audio files that are not played, I am using Freellancer HD latest version, yet I checked the length of the audio files and they are the same as the original, what could it depend on?
In particolar in the Freeport 7 scene, skips the “Incoming laser” and the final scream…
I’ll check the audio again, but I think they are fine
