Fields with Multiple Loot Types
-
I’m trying to make a single field with a couple loot types. Like, it has a chance of dropping Diamonds but it usualy drops Scrap Metal. I tryed adding the different Loot Fields to the Field.ini, even spliced them together, and only Diamonds drop (Diamonds being at the bottom of the field list). Anyone ever try to do this?
Oh, also, I tryed adding multiple fields ontop of eachother… FL realy didn’t like that, had to make the system all over again, lol. Big oops.

LoL, what happens when you put… oh, let’s say… 7 fields piggy backed ontop of eachother? Just thought I’d ask. Had a cool idea and I want to see if it’ll work other than the one posted above.

**There is a max of 8 overlapping fields in your starmap. If you go over this you will be inviting a CTD. When the crash happens is when the user opens their starmap (F6) if they have been to more than 8 fields in the same area of the star map.
For additional drops add more [DynamicAsteroids] & [LootableZone] entries into your asteroid INIs.**

The navmap ctd is due to the inability of FL to draw all the fields. If you change the field entries to show no pattern in the navmap, it shouldnt crash. you will need to change both asteroids and nebula entries in the system ini by editing the “property_flags =”
