Sols stations can be made modular
What we need is a modeler with the time to do it thoughā¦ Sol used alot of similar sized pieces (at the attachment points) and themes his work to fit togetherā¦ so breaking it all up and exporting per piece as per say our actual modular .cmp models should be very easyā¦ might have to close the odd open end thoughā¦ and thatās were a proper modelerā¦ not just a proficient converter is needed.

When i had to make a nomad station for my mod, i looked at discoās āNomad Shrineā, and filled my keyboard by salviaā¦
I decided to make something similar, but not similar at the same timeā¦
So, my nomad bases:Nomad Hatchery, Nomad Hive and Nomad weapon platform

Is the Freelancer version of Lancer Fighter from Homeworld 2. -
Just a note Fagu, you should turn up the lighting when you render out models. I have a hard time actually seeing your models because the shadows are so dark.
I suggest you set up a simple, re-usable 3-point lighting rig. Or, at the very least use an ambient light like a dim Skylight if youāre using 3DS Max.
I find that most modelerās weakness isnāt so much in their actual modeling technique, it is that they donāt know how to show off their work. A good render that is well lit will make a model shine.
Other than that, nice work on the models. They would make good additions to the Freelancer universe and fit right in from a stylistic perspective. Exactly the type of Freelancer models I like.

Thanks for teh advice, I used Skylight and Daylight system for this one. Now you should be able to see the ship easily.

If only they looked as good in the game as youāre able to make them look in your renders Why, freelancers lighting sucks.

My latest model, the Nahel Argama-class Assault Landing Ship from Gundam Unicorn. Colors have been militarized a bit more than she appears in the anime, and Iāve added her name plates and and some random combat achievement markings. Sheās 6628 triangles with three 2048x2048 textures. Hope you guys like.

I would kill for a good Macross game. Robotech Battlecry from awhile ago was pretty good. Too bad the Macross games that get created and sold in Japan will never be localized and released here. I hate Harmony Gold for the extensive legal douchebaggery they pull, one of which is forever preventing Macross anything from being (legally) released stateside.

Which size is it meant to be? For a battleship? Also I would probably make the base a bit shorter.
