Actually Disney has been known to sue people for copyright infringement and was one of the companies who did major lobbying for copyright extension in 2009 (search for Mickey Mouse protection act). In effect it extended copyright protection to 95 years in the US.

Personally I hope they leave it as it is now, there are some SW fan films I have really enjoyed and they would never have been made without Lucas Films liberal permission to use SW content.

At least Viacom didn’t buy it, the lawsuits would already be in the works. For example they are currently suing Google for copyright issue pertaining to Youtube. That is understandable since there is lot of infringement going on at that site. But they also have a bad habit of sending cease and desist letters to anyone showing anything from one of their shows. That has also backfired on them as well since they are considered patent trolls other companies will sue them at the drop of a hat now if they infringe on their copyright (recent one is Demi Moore on VH1)…

Windows, yep, it is the only OS I use so it’s the only one I can write games for, sorry…

EDIT : Link above was invalid, fixed, if you used the autoupdater that is an old version from last November. The full download contains the patched EXE so you don’t have to download the patch.

Cool, glad you think it’s fixed… but as recent as last week I’ve had issues if typing took more than 2 or 3 min (usually when I am digging through code to post an example)

Howdy, I have been lurking around here once in a while. Been playing around with some graphic post FX a bit to relearn HLSL. The other main focus has been getting a pipeline from MakeHuman into the game engine. Finally got a working solution just last week, which you saw in the video as Amy. Anyways, you guys keep up the good work on FL!

Hehe, asteroids are already batch rendered using the same renderer that the plants use.

Actually you wouldn’t be seeing any glass if it wasn’t for the reflection. The glass is set to almost complete transparency, the reflection is about 3/4 brightness. Look for the hotspot on the back window. It’s per-pixel reflection (as in very smooth blending), notice the bright streak running down the glass in the center of it while the ship is passing by (I’m sitting still about halfway between the top and bottom of the curved windows in the video). The effect is fully adjustable by simply changing what texture is used.

Reminds me of a Safari scene. !)

Murder Moive’s side effect i believe. And i guess a other reason is, human is complex, no one can sure they are safe.

As for me, i hate people still trying to kill other people for cash etc, so in my mod i set some other life style like hunting or exploring for experiment.
