Free Video Studio

Hey there,
I’m searching for a good and free video studio to create some decent videos.
It must not be AVID Express but it should have a timeline and features like frame transfers and to cut a video in different parts if possible exactly per frame.

I’ve tryed to google something but all i got was trial version or noobisch cr**.

First stop I’d recommend Sourceforge.net
Heaps of open source programs. I found Windows Movie Maker rather sluggish myself.

Can u point me to a OS video studio cause i found only one and that was more a player than a editor.

AVS Video Editor and other stuff, it’s some kind of a trial but it isn’t you’ll see.
