It would take a lot of time. At least, it would take me a lot of time. I imagine wallpaper people are very angry people, because having to resize a bunch of pictures for three different aspect ratios really is a pain.

If you have XP u can simply select every pic and resize it by right-clicking and selecting âConvert to file formatâ. In there you will be given the option of setting a specific size. Just pick JPG for the format since it is normally the smallest file size and it works even on the oldest browsers.

Another option, if youâre using Photoshop, is setting up a macro / recording a new âactionâ. Been a lil bit since I needed to do it, but I think CS2 was easier and had a batch option, however I could just be remembering things that donât exist again But yeh, actions are pretty handy, and can be assigned to an F (+ shift & or +ctrl) key. Helps also if you do digital photography with a crappy camera can set up auto contrast, etc.
More I think of it, I do recall that batch resize in CS2, because it was able to perform the action on all open documents.
Anyhoo, sorry for rambling. Just figured it might turn up handy. -
Why, you made my day. Now, I must go make a sig with it! glee
EDIT: If you have objections to that, please let me know.
EDIT 2: Why, do you think this same thing is possible for other mods that have fully-skinned ships? I donât mean YOU doing them, but if someone could follow your same steps and make the same quality renders for ships that arenât classic FL?

**I have nothing special installed, it works on every single install of XP that I have. Be warned though, if the file format you select is the same as the picture format, it will overwrite your images. I would suggest making a copy of your pics and resizing your copied files.
First, select every pic you want converted to a new size. Then follow the steps belowâŚ
Right mouse click->Convert to file formatâŚ
Next window will ask if you want to convert all to the same format, yep, you certainly do so click âOKâ.
In the âExtensionâ box select â.JPGâ
In the âImage Optionsâ group box, set the âWidthâ and âHeightâ you desire the final pic to be (it should show âDefaultâ in both boxes), if you want a 1/10th normal size pic for a 1280 x 1024 pic, you would enter 128 for the âWidthâ and 102 for the âHeightâ to keep the aspect ration close to correct.
Click âOKâ to convert them to the new size. It will ask you if you want to overwrite any pics of the same format (you picked JPG format when all of the pics are JPG), you select âYes to allâ. This is why you need to make a copy of the pics you want to convert, otherwise you will lose all of your full size pics.
Thatâs it, nothing special involved.
I have verified this works on Win XP SP2 and SP3.**

Iâm pretty sure you have something installed LS because Iâve never seen that and I do not have it on this computer running XP SP3.
