Please can someone post some examples of Restart plugin templates?

They should all look like the mpnewcharacter.fl file

The easiest way to do it is:

1. Create a new character
2. Using DAM, IonCross or from in-game setup the character the way you want it.
3. Logout and find this character’s file using DAM or IonCross. The file name will be something like 08-12345678.fl (your character file name will be different to this one).
4. Rename 08-12345678.fl file to the name you want to use for the restart, e.g. rename it to something like corsairsarelosers.fl and copy the file into the “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\exe\restart” directory.

Now when you type /showrestarts it should show the available restarts, e.g.

/showrestarts
corsairsarelosers
OK

And if you type
/restart corsairsarelosers
it should kick you and when you log in your character should now be a corsair.
