FLCN V 2.0 Applications
-
I’m going to repost this since it’s been a long time:
Can you add Freelancer Sirius, a server site, http://freelancersirius.dk3.info, we’ve had the FLC bar on our site ever since the beginning, thanks :).

Added.

Finally, we at Station-Network also managed to include the FLCN-bar on our main site, though not in the board; I put the reasons for this decision into this thread. On one hand there are currently no articles about Freelancer on the main page due to the fact that we rebuilt (and are still recreating) the whole project. On the other hand the board’s hugest sub area is the Freelancer area (“Freihafen 9”) and the main site attracts approximately 300 unique visitors / day.
The other criterias won’t affect this application I think, since we are one of the oldest Freelancer portals (freelancerstation was its former name) out there and though it’s hard times for general space sim portals, we stay as active as possible and try to encourage new projects - maybe the next project of our brand new STN Engineering branch will be dedicated to Freelancer, who knows?
//edit: Well, a team member just told me that the bar is not showing up in IE or FF - though in Opera (which I use) and Midori. It’s in the sources, but it’s not displayed. I’ll fix this.

Please install the bar first at your page in order to get added.
-
Our bar has been deactivated yesterday as The Starport has obviously banned the IP-address of our server making it impossible for the Wordpress-plugin to load the files containing the links of the FLCN.

Thanks. It’s an addition to my own notice submitted by the contact form (http://the-starport.net/index.php?option=com_contact&Itemid=3).

I’m afraid I have been told this new Aurora community is not the same as the old one and that the old Aurora community does not like having their name reused.
Please don’t change anything about Aurora’s link until the matter has been resolved.

Since the new Aurora community sent me ample proof of support and activity, I’ve decided to settle this in what I hope is a way that will satisfy both parties.
I have left the old dbB+ Aurora link in General/Community, renaming it to “dbB+ Aurora Freelancer Community” to avoid confusion. The new Aurora community is found under server links and is simply named “Aurora Freelancer”. In this manner, both communities might hopefully coexist shall the old Aurora keep on going.
@karl: Just a little heads-up: when I browsed for http://aurora-freelancer.com/, I was redirected to a non-existent page. Might want to fix that (the FLCN directs to the www.aurora-freelancer.com link which works).
EDIT: A bit too steadfast in my wish to resolve this issue, I completely overlooked the fact that the new Aurora site does not seem to have the FLCN. Please add the bar within 24 hours or I will be forced to remove the link (and normally I shouldn’t have added you in the first place).
