In what order do i install to get freelancer to work on Vista x64
-
I had to re-install freelancer and now i’m haveing these problems that i would like some help with please.
could someone please tell me step by step how to install everything to get this freelancer to work again.
When i start freelancer and click on multi-player and then YES it use to say LAN or NET. Now it says Internet instead.
when i get on line when you go to the system map place and i put my mouse arrow on a little white star like things it should open where that is.
Now it opens a box but there is nothing in that box anymore. Its just a gray box.
should i go like this?
1. install freelancer
2. install mod manageryou know like this way. i have heard that you have to install as admin. ALL the programs have to be installed that way?
Do i have to run in combility mode on all of them or just a few of them.
I have read a few posts on how to get this to work on vista x64 and have tried a few of them and they just don’t work for me.
I need a step by step way to ge this freelancer to work again. i have installed and re-installed 15 to 20 times and this is the final time i’m going to try to get this game to work.
If i do not get a reply and it doesn’t work i’m not going to try again. i have more or less had it with trying all these things hen they just do not work or someone left out a step and thet is why it isn’t working.
any help would be nice guys.
Thanks.

Have used Vista for a while and didn’t have any problems.
Only thing i have done was disable UAC (the administrator thing)And i didn’t use bitdefender from MS.
All that kind of build in stuff i didn’t use.
If you use the standard virus scanner and such, wich comes with the vista install that can give problems. What you also can try otherwise, run it in compatibillity mode:
Windows XP SP2.
Freelancer & Modmanager. You sure you also have the good drivers for your graphic card?
