Editing posts broken
-
Whenever I try to edit and save one of my posts it is deleted instead.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Reply to a topic.
2. Click “Edit” graphic at bottom of new post.
3. Click “Submit” on edit page.
4. Post mysteriously disappears, though post count still reflects having posted it and the last post in the topic shows as the new post. -
Apparently this will happen with any post, whether it’s the last post or the first post - see my plugin thread.
(No, I’m not apologizing for double posting.)
-
Is this a new behavior?
EDIT: Test.

I need to target what’s wrong. Does anyone else have this problem? Feel free to post and edit in this thread to check.

Edit #1
Well, it seems to be working fine now. Could someone fix my plugins thread? This is what I was trying to edit the post to.
Following plugin requests from mod makers, I decided to put the final touches on the flak_common and dock_restrict plugins. The following information has been taken from their readme files.
- flak_common: flak_common is required for all of the plugins on this page. Writers of other plugins may find the functions it exports to be useful in writing their plugins. Note: may have compatibility issues with Windows Vista/7.
- dock_restrict: dock_restict allows you to require players have a certain item in order to dock with a certain object (works with all dockable space objects). You can also specify a message to be sent to the player if they are denied permission to dock.
- Cloak: Cloak allows players to cloak their ships for a certain time set by the cloaking device they have. The commands are /cloak and /uncloak and the shortcuts are /c and /uc respectively.
Comments/questions/bug reports are welcome.
Thanks.

I’m not sure, I can’t find the thread
If you give me the thread I’ll do it.

What the… It deleted the first post of the topic, didn’t update the post references, but it still shows all replies.
This forum software could definitely use some work; if only I had more time!
