Normandy Flyable mod?

I think it’s not the SOD files, which are protected.
The Milkshape SOD importer is made to import stock models only afaik.
Others it just won’t load.

I think that’s verified by a list of stock files (name and size) in the msSODImporter.dll.

Besides i d suppose, the stock models are copyrighted.
So i m not really able to see the sens behind that specific restriction.
I d more expect a restriction against importing stock models.

The only program I know that import SOD files is Ultimate Unwrap 3D

My best advice would be to get a hold of the original modeler… and ask real nice if they have the
original mesh in another easy to use/convert format ;D

I’ve found most modelers to be quite nice, and quite easy to get along with… happy hunting

I looked at the same model (http://armada2.filefront.com/file/Normandy_from_Mass_Effect;92502) to use.

Even anyone gets anywhere with this, please let me know.

Unfortunately the Armada2 version is a rather crappy model & texture (read the comments about it).

SOD files can be imported by Milkshape, you just need the right plugins

My bad :-[ I forgot the importer only works on the SOD files you get with the game

The only model I have seen that is any good does not have textures. I’ve played with the Armada II one a bit and it is a waste of time.

The untextured one is in the public domain meshes for Bridge Commander

Maybe a contact to the poster of those pictures could help?
