3 different models - 1 displaied model [SOLVED]

Hey guys…
I created 3 new models in the last few days.
For 2 of them i already have a nice .sur, but…
When I test them ingame i see all 3 objetcs with the same .cmp and its own .surIn fact, in HardCMP, MS3D and FLE it looks like it should be… but not ingame…
can someone help me?

Try to give the model groups different names. When equally named, this can lead to crashes etc.

it works (idk which tipp was the right… it doesnt matter)
and after a few .sur problems (1/3 of the .sur dont detected anything - never use blharzardbox.sur for this stuff^^) my 3rd model is finished -
CRC issue. Looks like you fixed it when renaming your groups.

Renaming groups for each model is essential. I have about 20 versions of the same freighter with different paintjobs and logos. I was very careful to name the groups and textures seperately for each model otherwise total chaos would have happened.

I’d like to echo Forsaken and Gibbon; it’s good to even have a naming convention, something like
<shipnickname>_<shipfaction>_</shipfaction></shipnickname>
(Your convention may vary)
The point is that by keeping the same convention, you are absolutely sure you’ll never have two identical groups. The same goes for texture names.
