The Battle For Wesnoth

Huhu,
just a few days before I tried out a very nice Free Software/Open Source game. The Battle For Wesnoth seems to be a solid strategy games and has indeed some very nice ideas.
It is turn-based, every unit can get exp and reach a new level, which allows the player to select one of two advanced classes for the unit. There is also terrain as well as daytime which affects the units evasion and attack based of the race.
Moreover, every unit also has some kind of characteristics which are random, for instance a loyal unit doesn’t occupy any costs, a intelligent one needs less exp for a level up and so on.

It might sounds a bit boring as I thought about it as well but I am extremly sure you will change your mind once you tried this #$%% out!

The game is aviable for Mac, Windows and Linux.
