Wouldn’t it be much better to talk to Lancer Solurus and if he agrees to use his new engine, since he can make it do anything you guys want?

There isn’t a legally one for Germany as far as I know.

There is no legal “downloadable” freeware version of Freelancer, period. Why would there be?

And again i trying to be telepathist: open “mp” client = fast way to donate servers and keep them alive.

Because “Single player” - played and forgotten, and here you constantly communicating Community.

Central patch system “trial-to-full”? It’ll good for vanilla servers i think… but is it allowed by “m&s”?

I tried hacking the demo to go through a jump gate or hole, but it just stayed in the tunnel animation. Soon after that I got the full version, though, and deleted the demo, so I’m not in a position to try again (nor will I download it).

Somethink like try-before-you-buy…
Newbie->Little Patched Freelancer Trial->DemoOneSystemServ->buyFromTspAmazonPartner->playFullModsMP->DonateServers

This should be like that intersect with the idea of tsp mod demo server.

Now main idea how to use Freelancer Trial as i said - try Multiplayer Mods before you buy Freelancer.

Gotcha, andoxa. I thought it may not be possible and if you don’t want to fool with it, then there’s no sense in this n00b trying.

I can always just get rid of what I don’t want in the full game.

I love this idea! And really want to try it
