Here’s one I prepared earlier LOL, although I’ve used FL Mod Studio to display the system the majority of system ini was created manually (including the tradelanes), the system size is around 250x250 km and +/- 50 km vertically…
I did use FL MS to position and orientate the tradelane encounters, that’s somewhat time consuming as the angular axes swap around depending on the order the angular changes are applied, FL MS is excellent in this area as you can view the changes immediately…
One thing about 3D systems is the huge increase in volume there’s 20 bases in the system shown and I reckon you could triple that without the system becoming crowded.
I’ve added encounter zones (ambient and trade) near each base and JH, I also found vignette zones needed to be on same plane for each base to work I guess it’s maybe because the navmap is a 2D display.

Hehehehe, Would you be willing to help me with my EveLancer mod once I get it back rolling as I would LOVE to have all the systems be 3d like this, where I have stations in the x,y, z, planes.

I think the best approach for you would be to get a copy of FL mod studio, here’s the link

Install the program and load up an existing Freelancer system like Liberty (this is called Li01 in the game files) then click on the view tab so you can switch on the 3D system view.
From there it’s a matter of trying different things and then seeing what they look like in game, FL mod studio is excellent for adding bases/zones etc in 3D but you need to fly around in game to see if it works.
To Tanjitsu you’re right it is a screen grab of FL mod studio but the uploaded image is of a 3D system in a released mod.

By this he probably means Starspheres. You guys should read some more Sherlock Holmes books! What ealse can be photos in 3D space(system)?
With souch a language all you need to do to understand is searching for key words.

Yes, and you can add orientation and spinning speed this way. That is very simple!

I think that by “Photos” he means either screenshots from files which show how to edit height, or space background photos to make starsphere.
