No, I attribute those numbers to an 8 year old, outdated space simulator game.Yes! Without a doubt the most profound statement in this thread. Everything else attributed to freelancers demise is just background noise. In fact, I kinda like this thread, it’s like rehab, slapping OP in the face with a rotten trout is just a bonus!

So, In the FOX Drama of this, I’m thinking Mel Gibson to play OP.
Either that or Paris Hilton.Sushi will be Brad Pitt, for his devilish good looks.

You’re seriously going to spend hundreds of dollars per hour for some very shaky claims? This would be thrown out of court so quickly, the judge would probably laugh at you on the way out.We are not in america or any other country where this would be the case^^ TLR is now hosted in germany thus applying german rules and regulations and mostly in germany the one who lost on court pays the bills - if he didnt had an assurence - what in case of site holders most people have (if not then they are brave ones).

OP, there is good tool http://www.httrack.com/ - and all copy of arhives at your hdd :)) Please do not loop people about it

Obviously not.

why would i need such a tool when i have the original databases which are currently being integrated into TLR again?
either we can make a deal and stop this misery once and forever or we continue this crap with all its consequences (which of course is not your problem as cheeseontoast is the guy which is responsible for the data hosted here)
look
agree to the deal and all troubles between our communities are gone, furthermore you can take benefit from all the work we do at TLR -

me actually not - but one of my best friends ;D
F!R wrote:

didnt meant an assurence that pays for the bills for illegal stuff, i meant an assurence to defend someone on court. So just going there is eventually covered by the assurence/insurence whatever.

Actually yes, or do you believe the thousands that are going to court are going there just they felt bored? Could it be that its someone good right to fight for something that belongs to him/her? I am convinced that there are necessary advances.

I wasnt yet on court or had to deal with something like this. And its not my job in first instance - there are probably persons that i pay for doing this ;D

Good riddance ignoring all the valid points that have been raised, too. And cheese has nothing to do with whatever’s hosted here.

… when i have the original databases which are currently being integrated into TLR again?..
I catch u on this words.
Advise with your wife, children, nobody knows how to explain to you that your decision is wrong.
My problem, because i member of this site, is to see this spam from u on this site. So if u have original db, there is no reason to loop this thread about it - logical? -

Take a look at your mod, you’ve swiped a shed load of materials, textures, ships etc from copyright protected games, X3, Spaceforce Rogue Universe to name just two, without which your mod would be missing a hell of a lot of the shinyness it has. So with one hand you’re prepared to take what’s not yours from copyright work that’s actually filed for full on protection, and then with the other threaten to sue people for materials that you don’t really have a sure fire claim to.
I’ve said this to others before, you can’t get down off your horse and drink milk from the trough then climb back on it and pretend you haven’t done it. Do yourself and everyone else a favour, get off your horse and put some more milk in the trough, that’s the best way to help yourself and all of the other communities.

That was Azza. Being online at the time of his DDOS, he had 150 “unregistered” people constantly looking at this thread. Means that at 150 per second, he spent 20 minutes (~188,000 requests).

The entire legality of what we are doing is down the crapper anyways, so honestly, I just find it distasteful that it’s even being brought up.
Modding is illegal, taking copyrighted works from other properties is illegal, the no-cd is illegal, Hook is illegal… If you want to open that can of worms, you’re condemning the entire community, INCLUDING YOURS, OP.
You’d be a selfish idiot to do that, let me tell you.
Just let it go, will you? Oh and, yes cheese registered the domain, but he doesn’t have anything to do with what’s being hosted here. What, you want to drag him into court?
