Models giveaway

I wasn’t too happy with the previous pics because their quality was like crap, so I made some new renders of these 2 models:
-
I do not mind if they are real life missile launchers, just remember that they need to be of different size from the smaller rockets, to the frigate sized Citadel launchers. And KICKING model I will attempt to make both a Pirate and a Battleship with it on there. Thanks again mate.

Ok then, give me some links to different-sized missile launchers and I’ll have a look at them and let you know if the project has a green light

I’d like to have a go at making a space station interior …. dunno, maybe a hangar, a bar … something you could use in Freelancer.
I need you guys to give me some (large resolution) pics of such interiors which you like. They must have a “human” design, no alien / organic bullshit , cause I hate thatSo if you guys need a new room for your stations, find me some cool pics and I may just make something after them. If you don’t need, or if it’s too much work to code a new room in the game, let me know so that I wont start making preparations for this project.
Cheers

Hey SolCommand,
Just a bit of an update, managed to fix those missile launchers so that i could have them both in the game at the same time (turned out i exported them with the same vmeshdata name so changing that quickly fixed the problem). I also got your phalanx model in game and was trying (read: failing) to get the barrel to animate and spin like a gattling gun, but that wasn’t working out. I looked at the mk110 but i couldn’t determine a center point on which the barrel could rotate on to look right so gave up. Anyway, here is a screenshot of the weapons in game.
Also i looked around for some hanger ideas and came across this picture of a space ship which looks damn good, though you might like a look.

Bloody hell, that’s a pretty major task to recreate hangers like that. The mesh would take some serious work, nevermind texturing and lighting. Seems like a hell of a lot of effort for something a ship would slide in and out of once in a blue moon.

Thanks for the pics. I will put them to use when I decide to start working on those hangars.
Meanwhile, the model you mentioned, I made it last night for fun after seeing on google a pic of a sci-fi building. I replicated the building and placed it in a scene of my one, figured you can use it for some planetary landing cutscenes, which is why I didn’t go all crazy on the details.http://solcommand.blogspot.com/2011/01/planetary-outpost-ua-1.html

Had a look at a pic and I just got an idea for a new planetary base. Gonna see how this one turns out and if I like it I’ll post it here when and if it’s finished.
-
I didn’t had time to work on it as much as I wanted … anyway, here it is, a new planetary base.
You can edit this one extensively: you can easily move / add / remove the landing pads, the building or the trees. You can also edit the background image and add whatever image you like, it can be with a space theme, or a forest, or a futuristic city or whatever you like.
Enjoy

Meanwhile, here’s a very quick model for you just before I go to sleep. I just saw something like this in a pic I found with “google images” so I decided I’d make my own. Maybe someone will find a use for it.
