How to HOST a MULTIPLAYER at LAN without using internet connection???
-
Did somebody already tried to host a LAN multiplayer by using ADOXA’s procedures on Windows 7?
When you are not connected to the outside world without internet,wifi, etc.
Where your computer/PC/desktop/laptop and you are both together doing nothing and play Freelancer alone.
How can you play the the Multiplayer?
By using ADOXA’s tips - - - - -
This is ADOXA’s hack procedures on how to do it :
–-- 1) Go to your Freelancer group and start FLServer (or run Freelancer\EXE\FLServer.exe);
---- 2) enter anything for the name and make sure “Allow New Players” is checked;
---- 3) bring up the properties for your Freelancer shortcut; you should now see the “Target” highlighted, so press End and paste in everything between the quotes: “ -s127.0.0.1:2302”;
---- 4) start Freelancer, select “Multiplayer”, create the account if you haven’t already done so, select “LAN” and you should see your server there.
Please can someone please try it on Windows 7 if it will work.
Thanks.

I need to post something even I already posted many messages so that this topic will not be remove from the LATEST POSTS above.
Cause people will not see my topic if it is removed above.
Can someone please try the method of ADOXA on playing LAN multiplayer without an internet connection or no connection to the outside world ( World Wide Web ).
I don’t have any source of Windows 7 to try this anywhere. My friends uses XP OS and none of them uses Win 7 yet.
If I rent a PC, I am just wasting my money only just to do this trick.
If somebody has a Windows 7 already or someone is using it right now, please try it.
Thanks.

@ rsabatino
Thanks for trying it.
So it is still just the same as the Vista.
Well XP is really the best one for gaming compatibility.
Windows 7 has also a IPv6 problem?
Oh No!
Not again it is the same like Vista!
Thanks for trying.
Wish that on Win 7, there will be a fix for this.
HEHE!!!

the ipv6 could be because of my ethernet adapter it is nvidia so that could be the problem . you can still host a server with windows 7 . but after awhile my ipv6 would come back for no reason even after turning it off. i would stick with xp.Is there no way to make Freelancer support IPv6?

If IPv6 keeps coming back, look at the following to fully disable it…
