New starting profiles from charactercreate.page

Hi,
Does anyone know how to do this?
It’s my theory new buttons are added to the charactercreate.page but how do you make the new buttons refer to new profiles?

I’ve seen this in only two times… once on procyon and once on freeworlds, Both are very similar and look great.

Although, i have a feeling that this could be another one of those “wont be released” subjects that i may have to wait a life time for. Any help or info on how to do this, or if it will be made public or not would be great.

Sorry to dig this post up again,

Has Freeworlds decided on a new release date?
My reason for asking, is that my modification is just about complete for multi-player except for this topic which i’d like to add to it.

As time passes by i find myself losing interest in Freelancer, and i think i have now hit a “brick wall” when it comes to editing. I can edit .ini’s and .dll’s etc, but i know nothing at all about C++
From what i hear, it’s a good and fairly easy lanuage to learn and understand, but to be honest i wouldnt know where to start.

Can anybody confirm or dismiss that starting a new profile from the charactercreate.page is done with FLHook?

If not, can anyone atleast hint to what i should be looking for?

if it is, i may aswell stop my modifications now, then pop back when or if someone releases a plugin or whatever.

Any help would be great.

Basic modding is simple, but when it comes to flhook programming or writing plugins im stucked.
(and i dont want to bother anyone)

Its cool that ToW will have all the FL Coding features and that u r planing to share it with the public, but pls dont hide ur secrets
