It does it sais:
Error: problem activating ‘Shattered Worlds’
Error: SHCopyFile failed (‘C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\Shattered Worlds\SW-WT Mod Information.txt’ to ‘C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\SW-WT Mod Information.txt’)I have no idea what that means or how to fix it. Also like I said, IF I can get it to load Freelancer crashes every time I try to play it SP.

FLMM isn’t perfect so it’s likely that the SP crashes are the result of the imperfect install, and on the odd occasion downloads can be corrupted too.
The first step is to do a completely clean install of both freelancer and the mod (make sure you have your MP ID backed up if you play MP).
If you still have this problem then try un-zipping the mod without FLMM, all the instructions for this are on our site here: http://freelancer-swwt.com/Forum/index.php?topic=8.0
If that doesn’t work you can re-download the mod and try the above suggestions again. If that doesn’t work let me know.
There is also a tech support forum on the SW:WT website which I check more often the the Starport if you still need help.

If the program is trying to write to C:\Program Files\ and it’s failing, the first thing you should do is check that you’re running it as an administrator.
Edit: Also, split posts and merged them into your new topic. This isn’t really a problem with SW at all. I really hate this weird forum software.

It sounds like you have either had this mod loaded before and it hasnt been removed properly, Or, you attempted to put the mod files manually.
the error above may be cause if the SW-WT Mod information.txt already exists…
i would recommend de-activating all/any mods and re-install freelancer. (make sure all the freelancer files are gone before re-installing). just remember to backup you multi-player id (MPID).Hope it helps!

Instead of re-installing the game you can also try to restore backups by FLMM.
Flmm-> Tools -> Restore Backups.
Be sure you launch FLMM as an admin as said before and try activating the mod again.

You need to have the readonly option dismarked in the FLMM.
But what OS do you use?

Just a quick mention:
In times past we have run into similar issues that were due to corruption and required a re-install but found that instead of a re-install or instead of a backup restore, simply delete the Freelancer folder and then reinstall fresh. Sometimes you get a better “clean job” then a reinstall.
However, I tend to lean towards the permissions issue as to why he is having problems.
