Hows Freeworlds 2.0 coming along anyways? I haven’t been around as much as i would have like to be anymore, so haven’t been checking up that much of the TC.
I have seen some of the newer videos and am absolutely astounded at what the team has been able to accomplish in terms of updating the graphics and such.
Will the graphical update eventually be available for widespread use throughout the freelancer community at large, or do u intend to keep it within the freeworlds mod? Which would be completely understandable obviously

No problem! Hope you have a good time getting back into the FL mods.
As for FW:ToW, it’s going well. We had a bit of a development lul at the end of the year but now things are picking up full steam. Our biggest thing that needs to be addressed now is the economy and forum interface that will control the dynamic economy, influence system, etc. However, that’s presently being worked on. We’re hoping to complete the alpha stage of development in a few months.
As for the graphical update, we will release it to most of the community (one mod being barred from using it for a number of reasons) once we release the mod. This way, almost everyone can improve the level of the mod and hopefully squeak a few more years out of this great game.

Thats good to hear. I used to love TE’s and just playing 18.6x in general, not even sure what stage the mod is at now lol.
Anything to keep this game going for as long as possible is a nice thing to have. Unfortunately, most of the community has left due to the age of the game anyways, I wish there was similar games to Freelancer that were newer in general, but the space-sim genre seems to have died out :(.

ummm my flmm wont open the files, i love this mod … any idea’s?

Any error messages? Does the mod show up in FLMM?

yeah the show up, but when i go to open the mod up i get some error code and says it was only a trial run, when i read into it, it said one of the ship files doesnt exist
there were a few for ver 9
same prob for both

Only if your folder permissions are set wrong.

it tried running as admin and how do you edit permission?
