It should have a load of characters and numbers in the box. It’s basically a set of characters that is used by a server to identify your account, so when you log into a server it can recognise you and save your character information. The idea being that next time you login to the same server you can retrieve your character information, ships, credits earned etc and don’t have to start all over again.
A good idea to make a note of the id it generates for you incase you ever reinstall etc.

Q: Am i missing a download? When i opened Multi-p Selected internet it gave me empty box with flashing curser when i hit creat it yelled at me and called me stupid. Said there was nothing there. Other than the curser it wasn’t lying.

Normally an id is automatically generated, a string of letters and numbers seperated by the odd dash in between is already in the box. Create just accepts it. Strange that it’s not already there.
I can give you the layout if you want to try and create your own.
12345678 - abc1abcd - ab12345a - 123a
Use numbers where I’ve used numbers, letters where I’ve used letters and seperate them by dashes like I have but with no spaces in between.
You need to use the gls workaround mind to get online if you’re not using a mod. You won’t see any servers otherwise, you’ll also need to disable ipv6 if using vista or win7. Then there’s the need to run freelancer as an admin and make sure your firewall isn’t causing any problems. It’s not easy with old games sometimes
There’s a guide to all this somewhere I’m sure.

The odds are many to one against you’ll accidentally get someone else’s MP ID. If you do, you can always just generate another one if need be.

K hey followed that link not sure wich one i need
i downloaded one but when i try to install comes up as some exception or somthing giving me the choice of ignoring or quiting installdont really understand where to go or how to change with the info that shows above the download.
looked like one of them would put that information in proper place for me but did the same thing.Thanks for all your help.

I actavaded rheinland gun mod went to multi-p
started to enter the code:
it allowed the first line followed by the -
and the first letter after.it then started when i pushed letters gave me –- instead
then started capatalizing them is this what its supossed to do

Or how i would find it to deactavate it then when i follow the links i often times leave them spinning in circles
