my intention is to up the weapon damage and ship resistance on some of the models and give a reason to strive for a particular model it always bugged me that you work so hard to gather level 10 weapons and couldn’nt mount them on your favorite ship so all the ships deserve the capability if your willing to work at it.
You can’t upgrade to them unless your at the appropriate level any way so no harm done.
I personally have gone nearly all the way through the game with the starflier not that i like the starflier so much as i did the challange. That said and bear in mind i’m new to the ability to modify the game so I’m in the Go ridiculessly Nuts Stage. Here is the Sniper that i Plan to apply to one of my weapons.lifetime = 40. this just past Newark Station spawns from there you can severly disturbe the base
and because i put 09 you could put this on any ship hardpointFound a combanation that works Great as my sniper

you can make a one pop shot kill on unselected ships
but can also miss. i slowed it down to the count of two

i’ll put this link to a tool that will replace incypted files to readable for people that want it. Or for people that don’t have the ability to ask Q’s because they are not signed to the forum. Get this tool and convert your files and modify according to some of the cool things the experts show in there chat’s.

Except that we don’t recommend using the SDK 1.5b, it’s buggy. Either use 1.3 SDK or JFP (Jason’s Freelancer Patch.)
As for the rest of it, tl;dr.
If you’re trying to help people out I applaud your effort, but remind you that there are people here who have been modding Freelancer since it came out, and you’ll be able to find all this information already in the forums by use of the “search” function.
