So, if I do those hex edit, then I can use the “price_variance” in my mod?If you intent your mod for MP use, you can not use “price_variance”.
Those hacks do not effect that.If you use “price_variance” together with MP,
you will see constant cheat kicks. -
I ll try.
In MP the settings in the market file and especially the player’s reputation should not have an effect
- besides the question, if the bases buys only or sells and the price multiplier (not 2 mix with the ‘price variance’ ).
Now with that hack the do have effect as told above.
MarketGood = , <required level=“”>, <required rep=“”>, <minimum>, <stock>, <sell>, <price multiplier=“”>as for example a base selling H-Fuel like
MarketGood = commodity_H_fuel, 12, 0, 150, 500, 0, 1.200000
12 - your player level has to be at least ‘12’ to buy (not sure if selling is effected)
0 - your rep with the base faction hast to be minimum neutral
500 - the base won’t sell more than 500 pieces to you in 1 stop
(Low value here will result in players with bigger ships
logging on and off the server to get more pieces with one stop)1.200000 the price will be the [Good] price +20%
And I d guess <minimum>just does nothing.
Maybe you can only buy <stock>./. <minimum>pieces- but if I remember correct, it was just the <stock>number.
And don’t forget to get Adoxa’s MP Rep.Dll.
