Shipbound Superweapons?

Yes, I had this idea for the Discovery Mod about certain starship models utilizing shipbound superweapons.
Pros:
- Shield-ignoring damage
- Instant Overkill
- As you get damaged the weapon increases in firepower
Cons:
- Expends all weapon power
- Overheats ship, Must wait 10 seconds to re-initialize weapons.
- Intended for last resort.
Since I’ll be introducing original R-Type Ships into FL, I need to create a new HP class to compensate for this new concept.
Any suggestions on how to Create new Hardpoint Types?

You can’t create new Hardpoint Types. But you can put weapons fixed on the ships.
Either you just put them on a hardpoint that isn’t listed in the shiparch, or you set it’s price to 0 and install adoxa’s “Fixed Mounts” plugin http://adoxa.hostmyway.net/freelancer/dlp.php?f=fixedmountsThe rest of your ideas is either possible to code with FL Hook or impossible.

The remote device won’t accept the connection, why?
EDIT: Because my ISP banned the IP it uses: 31.170.166.177 under the impression that it was used for Piracy!
EDIT 2: I’d rather have Jason host his utilities on mediafire. For the Angel’s sake, is it too much to ask?

Yes. You’re asking him to waste hours to put all his utilities on MediaFire.

Administrator FriendlyFire, in my defense, Jason’s method of hosting his files was rather inconvenient. Then again, convenience is the strategy of Piracy. If I were to ask him for the plugin via gmail, would that have been a more discrete and direct alternative?

What the hell are you raving about? It’s not because the IP was flagged for piracy that A) there’s pirated material on the server with that IP or B) that everything hosted on that server is pirated material.
If adoxa wants to send you his plugins manually, it’s his prerogative, but you’d perhaps have better luck asking him directly through PMs than insinuating absurd things.

Sorry, I wasn’t trying to cause drama, I’m just frustrated cause, I’m out of alternatives, it’s as if I need to access his site on a neighbor’s computer under a different ISP. Heck, maybe I have to access it from the library’s Internet.

They don’t work, I’ve tried, and tried, connection keeps timing out and will not connect.
