We have Nomad battlegroups (battleships, gunboats, etc.) on our server and we’ve identified an issue where it seems that the Nomad NPCs are attempting to dock at the OG jumphole in the lower unknowns. This appears to be causing a server crash.
What line in the code causes an NPC to be able to dock?
Is there a line that would prevent them from even attempting it?Thanks,

We keep getting the following error:

Also need an alternative to Freelancer Explorer. FLE opens up just fine with the vanilla files but crashes if I attempt to open it up when the mod is applied. This is new. I thought it was my hardware change but it’s also doing this on another machine. Problem is that it’s also doing it with mod versions that are older and and had previously worked fine.

I’m not sure about the questions in the first two posts (although NPC JH docking is likely to be patrol path/encounter related) but I’m fairly sure FLE only works on the deactivated mod.
Personally I use FL Mod studio as it works on the active mod although it doesn’t have all the tools that FLE does.

The 00047bc4 crash seems to be caused by the npc random chatter element when entering jumpholes/gates “I see were not the only ones going to the ~whatever~ system” and the other lines. Nomads dont have a voice file present for this and I suppose it causes a crash

FLE has a choice of working on a mod, or the ingame files. Up til now I’ve always activated the mod chosen ‘No’ when asked if I want to work on a mod, and gone to work. Now for some reason it’s not working. It works fine on the unmodded game files but it ‘should’ work on the modded files as well and it doesn’t. It just coughs up the following error in the crash log:
<exception><exceptionrecord modulename=“D:\Program Files\Freelancer Explorer\FreelancerExplorer.exe” exceptioncode=“0x80000003” exceptiondescription=“EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT” exceptionaddress=“0x48b2d8”><processor architecture=“PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE_INTEL” level=“Intel Pentium Pro or Pentium II” numberofprocessors=“8”><operatingsystem majorversion=“6” minorversion=“1” buildnumber=“7601” csdversion=“Service Pack 1”></operatingsystem></processor></exceptionrecord></exception>
and the following in the function trace log file:

I remember having “similar” probs with FLE since i use the TerritoryMP.dll… i personally think its caused by the “universe.ini”-entries needed for this plugin but these are just my 2 cents… and its NOT meant to be an offense regarding adoxas masterpiece and maybe I´m wrong !!!
