Why didn’t anybody tell me that cockpits can be made to look like this?

Also, while messing around with the resolution i made the npcs talk to me like this

I have no idea how i did that, i would like to know if anyone can help me. -

In that case, have a play with [Receiver] in DATA\INTERFACE\hud.ini - in particular video_fovx (try 25) and win_size (try 0.4, 0.4; that will show the pilots really are sitting down [in the middle of the screen] and have no hands). Those settings can be changed on the fly - just load a game to take effect. It seems the actual window is controlled by code (win_pos seems to have little effect), but you can change it’s position via Comm in HudShift.ini; you may be able to change its size via floats at 0CB7B2/7/C (z/y/x) in Freelancer.exe.
