What is the P/N on Freelancer CD?
-
So today i routed up my Freelancer CD.
And i noticed on the CD, they marked a P/N and a number, maybe it means Production Number?
If it is, is that unique?
Because I got a 5 digits on it, start with number 1. So if that’s unique, maybe that’s means, there are about ten thousand sells (max) of those CDs while i buying mine’s (in 2011)?
There is the one on CD
And the number also on CD cover
Sorry, i don’t know that the number is so i blurred 2 of it.
And the CD purchased on CDUniverse.
Take look your CD (If you can still find it), that’s the number around?

Oh i forget blur the Barcode
So the number is 10750.
And also, it’s not represent sell number, good for that.
But, well, it little bit sad knowing the number is not unique.
Thank you.

Part No. X09-40299 on mine, it’s one of the really old sky blue discs with silver trent silhouette on, I guess 11 years old or so now. Makes you think doesn’t it.

You can call him Dave or Bob for all I care, there are significantly fewer polygons in that sort of image I should imagine

Nah, the early versions like I have came as you see in the picture, just a single CD and a game manual, the manual is actually quite good too, which was not unusual back in the day, that’s something you don’t see anymore. It’s incredible to think we had all that game on a single CD, installing it from disc these days takes like 3 mins lol.

The manual is written to be an LSF handbook that Tobias has acquired and annotated for Trent. It’s a good read.
