Have you tried running it under XP Mode in Windows 7? It’s a free download, but you also need Virtual PC, also free, to run XP Mode.

XP Mode is XP running as a Virtual Machine, you can install any XP application into it.

I think it is a problem with flhook.
Have you installed “Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package” ?

BSG mods on moddb are banned i know that much due to licencing issues, i had one removed for that reason years ago.

Only one i know of is Gibbon’s Galactica mod which is OSP only

I’ve been looking all over for a place to download the BSG Edge of Apocalypse mod for Freelancer but can’t find it anywhere. Does anyone have access? I’d love to play it on a LAN server with some friends if possible.

Hello everyone. I managed to find a version of the Dawn of war mod 1.7.4 and wanted to ask since I have 0 idea of freelancer modding or server related things, how can I setup a lan version of the mod if possible for me and friends to play on it ?

You’ll need to edit FLServer.exe with a Resource Hacker to match the version number of Freelancer.exe.

EDIT: found files and changed version number i can now try and connect but everytime i do it gives me a ‘failed to connect to server’ error can anyone shed some light on this sorry for necro
