Texturing tutorials

Hello. I’m a new to texturing and I want to learn how to do it. If you know a freelancer site that teaches how to texture or if you have some tutorials, may I get the links?

There was also another detailed one by Ryujin which I found hard to understand at first when I was new to texturing, because it focussed more on the artistic side which may be what you would like, but I can’t find where it’s hosted, and some of the authors allowed only Lancers to host their tutorials (silly billies). It may be in the Lancer’s archives.

Er, it doesn’t even say what program that tutorial is for, and that’s kinda important so that we get the right one, don’tcha think?

Most texturing tutorials are more about techniques than specifics; they are applicable on any 2d editing software given the proper knowledge of the different tools. If you don’t know the tools of the software, then you’d much more likely need a tutorial or book specific to the program itself.

However, the single best method to learn (especially texturing) is to practice and experiment. ;D

This information may be no good or it might but i remember flying with a few players that had there own forums for models textures and such but cant remember the name.

Players name were ,Peacekeeper, and, Grimm Reaper, i think they have a sight somewere that covers textures and such.

Any other members input here would help if they knew the players mentioned or there web sight .

Sorry for missing out the names if i knew all them players\modders were there then definitely worth a look \ visit there.
