Bounty/Tractor missions??

I wasnt going to ask… but i cant seem to find any clear solution to a little problem im having with my mod,
Ive got new NPC’s and new stsyems and all that working fine exept for tractor/bounty missions in the new systems
mission works fine up untill the moment you tractor the “target” and the commision switches to “bring it home” … crashthis also crashes on the Stock FL NPC’s as well ie: bounty hunters/zoners so id say its a “base” problem but thats as far as
i can trace without knowing what ive “missed” whilst coding the new systems. BTW all other missions work fine just the “bring it back to…” ones. this is bugging the crap outa me as its sorta the “last” major bug i need to squash…Ive searched high and low, dll’d every tut i can get ahold of, pulled out hair and prayed to the gods… still nada
just a link to the “right” tut would be more than exelent i learn better that way lol…

Where do i put the IDS for my new bases so it works right? … I can feel it in my bones that its the “KnowledgeMap.ini” or “InfocardMap.ini” … maybe even the “VignetteParams.ini” and becuase even the “stock” factions crash with this i know its not the new NPC’s and its the base IDS…
Everyone i know that “would know” the answer’s kinda busy in Real life ATM… sorry to sound like a “whining git” lmao but
this “problem” is the only one i havent quashed in the 2 years ive been learning and building… so its a real painthis is the last you’ll hear me winge/request/or cry about this topic if no answer… i’ll just remove all tractor based missions from the new systems in my mod looooooool but i’d rather “fix” em ;D

I really don’t have the time to go searching through every tut just for this answer even just a point towarsds the “right”
tutorial will do… as im the only coder in XLR… i cant be sitting back scanning 100’odd tuts i have here for this little “gem”

More than likely, since it is in new systems the path data is probably incorrect. There is a tool by Chips that can generate the path data fairly well (I’ll have to look for it). Also, If you have more than 9 jump holes in a systems, that will do it also. I used to have the same problems in my mod but they are corrected now.

That ‘isn’t’ his problem. It would crash on entering a system and not with a base.

;D ;D ;DCheck those stations, which are not at the navmap and try to change
“shape_name = NAV_bigstation”
to
“shape_name = NAV_largestation”I suppose, the error will be gone afterwards.
At least you ll find the stations on the NAV map than.
Besides: a jumphole number 10+ doesn’t crash you, when entering the system.
There are some systems in the WTS World - and i suppose also in Nightstalkers Universe
and other mods - which got more.
Routing through those does.
