how can i show you? you can only be shown that by the one of which you reply to a post, or if you have read the rules yourself ^^ Its, for the most part, common sense, its like the unwritten rules, everyone knows the rules, they just dont need to be repeated. Only for the new people that are new to forum participation and such, so thats why they are up

And why cant an admin add content to thier posts? its his post. if anyone had a problem with this happening, we would have ran acrross this…“issue” ALOT sooner. so therefore i ask, why stir up trouble when you know full well we are completely within our right to do this?

We act as we see fit.

In other words, if we see a thread heading towards a certain direction we are totaly in our rights to lock or remove the topic WITH or WITHOUT explanation.
And maybe the topic poster asked for the lock? In this case he didn’t but i know cases where the topic starters ask for a lock because it is heading towards the wrong direction.

This also means we can edit out posts or even completely remove the topic. Its standard common sense.

We will give explanation upon asking if it is asked in a normal decent way.

I also point out that the admins of this board make the rules, they are fair, and are followed by admins where they can.
In certain cases the rules don’t apply for admins, like editing a post after a topic is locked to prevent posting after the lock post has been posted.

If the original poster wishes to continue the discussion, he is totally free to PM any of the admins or staffers and we will be pleased to unlock the topic. In any other case, the poster cannot defend himself since he clearly stated he would not post here anymore. As such, the lock was completely appropriate in order to avoid the thread devolving further.

Worfeh edited his own reply as he believed he should’ve given more explanation. Does that mean you are against the Staff giving explanations for their moderation? He edited it in afterwards; so what? There was no reply to his specific post and he clearly showed what he added through saying “Edit”. What more do you want?

The original post was edited by Angelfire much ahead of the topic getting locked. I fail to see the issue with this.

No, this indeed is not democratic. We are not a country either, nor is this a public service. Are you paying for this server? Are you working on the site? Are you doing anything bar using the services we offer for free? Then you must either abide to our rules and point of view, or leave. We leave that choice to you and to everyone else.

Plus, I haven’t heard any complaint about the way Staffers are selected, nor have I seen any large issue with a Staffer we’ve previously selected, which tends to show the method mustn’t be all that wrong, aye?

Nothing to decide? This is the single largest hypocritical statement I’ve seen in a while. Sure, we don’t do whatever the community asks like good puppies, but we are CONTINUOUSLY asking for input for just about every decision we make and every project we promote. Any suggestion is listened to. Negative comments and accepted and left intact. Arguments are welcomed and encouraged.
