Not that hard.
A person is trying to get some project off the ground, but in the process of gathering resources he stumbles up on people who are trying to talk him out of it.
When this person clearly states that he won’t post on that topic any more, this means the topic creator, and people keep responding to his topic on the same grounds, this person won’t reply to it because he clearly stated that this was his last post on this board. In other words, he can’t defend him self anymore and will have to rely on other people for that. -
This Topic has to stop at post one then , or when you decide to cancel replies ? Your free will , not of the Topic Starter of course .
You even edit the orginal Topic at free will( i believed it was closed … ), congrats that SP Admins design “closed” Topics as they like … -
Imma say this needs to stop at post 4. =]
oh also dont feed the troll and move directly to jail!!!

What Reason i can read no excessive flaming ?
The point is , is a closed Topic open for editing or not ?
If aTopic is closed its closed , the Admin shouldnt add any content ( aka coz the topic is closed the auhor doeent reply … )
Where are we ? STASI Methods ? -

If aTopic is closed its closed , the Admin shouldnt add any content ( aka coz the topic is closed the auhor doeent reply … )A closed topic means only admin can edit posts within it. Angelfire edited his own posts and worfeh edited his own post after he locked it, to give the reasoning, i guess he forgot to do that first…
And why cant an admin add content to thier posts? its his post. if anyone had a problem with this happening, we would have ran acrross this…“issue” ALOT sooner. so therefore i ask, why stir up trouble when you know full well we are completely within our right to do this?

You shouldn’t forget that you are only a guest here at T SP. So please stop attacking the T SP staff.

Unregarding your status of technical permissions, you stay as a guest here in the community.

If not , im done here ^^ .
how can i show you? you can only be shown that by the one of which you reply to a post, or if you have read the rules yourself ^^ Its, for the most part, common sense, its like the unwritten rules, everyone knows the rules, they just dont need to be repeated. Only for the new people that are new to forum participation and such, so thats why they are up
Here are the rules if you havent read them. >> http://the-starport.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=36.0
also awnser this.

Where are they ? Any reason to dismiss a project ?

We act as we see fit.
In other words, if we see a thread heading towards a certain direction we are totaly in our rights to lock or remove the topic WITH or WITHOUT explanation.
And maybe the topic poster asked for the lock? In this case he didn’t but i know cases where the topic starters ask for a lock because it is heading towards the wrong direction. This also means we can edit out posts or even completely remove the topic. Its standard common sense.
We will give explanation upon asking if it is asked in a normal decent way.
I also point out that the admins of this board make the rules, they are fair, and are followed by admins where they can.
In certain cases the rules don’t apply for admins, like editing a post after a topic is locked to prevent posting after the lock post has been posted. -

So you by you saying that you havent read the rules eh? and the project still open for discussion, for the people that wanna take part, they only have to start a new thread.
and read the rules >> http://the-starport.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=36.0

If the original poster wishes to continue the discussion, he is totally free to PM any of the admins or staffers and we will be pleased to unlock the topic. In any other case, the poster cannot defend himself since he clearly stated he would not post here anymore. As such, the lock was completely appropriate in order to avoid the thread devolving further.
Worfeh edited his own reply as he believed he should’ve given more explanation. Does that mean you are against the Staff giving explanations for their moderation? He edited it in afterwards; so what? There was no reply to his specific post and he clearly showed what he added through saying “Edit”. What more do you want?
The original post was edited by Angelfire much ahead of the topic getting locked. I fail to see the issue with this.
Now, please, if you like to see conspiracy theories, you are free to leave. Otherwise, please walk on.
I’m not locking this topic (just shattered your conspiracy, eh? yeah, I’m evil like that), but please don’t give me a reason to. You’ve already been noticed for a troublesome behavior in other times here, so consider yourself warned (yay now I’m working within your conspiracy conception and this is all something to get you banned in the end, congrats on uncovering my machiavelic schemes).
