UTF/RESKIN Tut request..

Been playing with the new UTF editor and have tryed to make some reskins of
various NPC cosutmes… Seems i need to learn about MIPS and other UTF / texture / LOD related
fun…
I extracted the textures… changed a few colors… replaced the textures (first .tga) and no dealy… i had the
other MIPS overriding the custom in MIP8 (i think)…
so then i converted the texture to .dds, reloaded that in… took out the MIP0-8 and renamed the MIP8 to MIPS…Now… the texture works great but one tiny problem… Its all messed up… looks like a funky Hippy TieDie party and not quite the “re-hue” i was hoping for…
I’ll admit … hehe… I have no idea what im doing with this… This is as far as i’ve gottern with trial and error… now i’d like to
refine it into actual working costumes… having gottern this far i feel i simply just “missed a step”… or 2…Any help with the UTF editor for this problem… and other MIP .tga/.dds conversion related issues would be SUPER!!! as its doing my head in… hehe not as easy as reskining ships… lol… ;D ;D

Did you flip the DDS textures? You need to when converting from TGA to DDS.

only if the TGA texture was flipped in the first place

as in flip do u mean “upside down”… that maybe the problem here…
stuff kinda looks upsidedown… hmm i’ll try ;DIf its flip as in inside out (for models and such)… how do i do that in UTF?..
