Heh, thanks man. The DevTeam team is doing a great job. I’m really proud of what they’ve done with 1.3. I can’t wait till its done, it makes 1.2 look like vanilla. And the singleplayer guys will have love too. We got that sorted so that the campaign is compatible with the extensive overhaul we done of everything. I wanted to make it harder, but a lot of people are NOT elite pilots, and we didn’t want to scare people off from joining the server for multiplayer RP and PvP by making the SP campaign overly challenging. I did however make the Hovis race really easy instead of hacking it to bypass it. I made it so Hovis doesn’t use cruise as much.
FYI, we have a gallery on the forums too. I’m trying to update it with dev pics when I get a chance…

The next version of Shattered Worlds: War Torn is out! Creeping Darkness (1.6) is the next installment of quality and polish that the SW:WT mod has become renowned for.
There are ~50 completely new ships in the Creeping Darkness update, as well as the Corvettes and Cruisers being made available to the public. There are completely new systems which belong to the Guild and are part of the continuation of the SW:WT mod storyline but on top of that there have been a few major changes to existing systems that were driven by player role play. The Molly’s have a new base which they have been role playing for for a while and in Kusari the Blood Empire has been fully realised with re-worked reputations and factions. Missions against the Guild have also been added in several systems, these will definitely test even the most well organised of fighter groups attempting them.
New Ships:
Kusari, the Lane Hackers, the Bounty Hunters Guild, Universal Shipping and Mining and the GC have all received brand new fighter lines. Civilian, Liberty, Rheinland and freighter lines have also received some new blood. The long awaited Gas Miners have been added, no mother-lode sized ones yet, they’ll be along soon. In addition the Nomad Cult now have a specialised ship of their own.New Systems:
There are new Guild systems which contain their center of operations and a few other interesting bits and pieces if you look hard enough. These systems are linked in with the mod’s back story which, because of our focus on player driven role play, takes a back seat to changes within the houses in this update. That brings me to the next section…New Factions:
The major overhaul of Kusari was done to reflect role play done by several factions there (a previous Outcast faction and a Kusari faction under two different names, best known as the Blood Empire). The mod development team felt these changes too important to leave unacknowledged and as such Kusari is now ruled by the Blood Empire who also have a whole new line of ships. They are contending with two new criminal factions in the war-ravaged house; the Kusari Remnants, stragglers of the old Kusari Empire that was conquered by the Blood Dragons with the Outcasts and who are now rebels, and the Kagutsuchi, criminals and vagabonds taking advantage of the unrest in the House.New Bases:
The Mollys have a new base, Belfast, also motivated by player driven role play, and there have also been additions due to changes in Kusari. Belfast is an example of player faction built bases that the SW Admin team are phasing in with the Creeping Darkness release. This will be in the form of a base building system that will see everything from minefields and navigation buoys to shipyards, capital ship stations and even surveys for new systems available to players wanting to build up their faction. Another example of this system is Clatsop Station, which has received an upgrade from the player USM faction.Publicly Available Capships!
The first post in this thread has been updated to reflect all this. Come give the mod a try!
