That’s from before I used your files, though.
Maybe those topics help you as well:

You might wanna look at the WineHQ link I gave you earlier; its specifically for FL. The above console output was just a bunch of nonsense where some isn’t fixable by you and most are fixable by adding d3d8.dll and d3d9.dll.

This time I was only idling in the main menu a little.

Also, it seems that the menu does lag more after I used your DLLs.
-
Thats because its creating a compatibility layer and translating the .dlls.
If theres lag I’m not sure if theres anything you can do, as its probably not very WINE related… You could ask at WineHQ.
-
So you don’t have a clue how I can try out SP or get servers at the serverlist?
-
Nothing works? Servers at the servers list should work as long as you add Crazy’s fllistserver in the freelancer.ini file, and added dplay.dll and dplayx to the dll list. As for SP that should work fine if you even manage to get to the main menu.
-
Both doesn’t work. Do you may want to take a look at it via teamviewer?
-
I’ll download TeamViewer right away. PM me the info I need.
-
Well, it complains about dpnet.dll it seems, when its added and when its not after we first added it. The wineboot command didn’t help, so reboot and try starting FL again… I’m not sure I can be of much help, as that is the config I gave you is what I used.
-
Nope, FL quits immedality.
Maybe we two should visit the IRC chatroom of wine later, this weekend or next week (I am driving away with my school class)
-
Yeah, I really got no idea what is wrong. I see it complains about dpnet.dll, but why? Its not even active.
That is the config everyone told me to use, and what worked for me.
-
how to fix this one? >_<

Has anybody got this working yet?
-
Well, I tried it again today. Ubuntu 11.04 (I hate Unity, so Gnome 3 instead :)) and wine 1.3.20.
There are some fixmes spammed in console during startup, but the only real trouble I get is at the multiplayer server selection screen - huge lag, more console spam and no servers on the list:fixme:d3d:debug_d3dformat Unrecognized 0x31414144 (as fourcc: DAA1) WINED3DFORMAT!
