OMG that Pirate Gunship just looks awesome.
-
Nice ship man.
-
oh, the scavanger is a nice one, too actually
looks somehow like it could be a junkersā ship^^ -
Thanks Sol, wish i could take credit but itās by another guy called Griff whose let me convert all his models to FL. All low poly and normally with just a single square texture.

Hey guys,
Iād need a bit of help with one of the projects Iām working on. If youāve got some time, can you please link here some pics with concept art (or whatever) of space debris / junk, stuff that youād find floating around in space inside debris fields.
Cheers. -

Probably the final ship iām converting from Griff for the Elite ships collection, Another gunboat/battleship type ship, this one called the Diamondback. Comes with a custom turret model (not shown). Can be mounted on 4 hardpoints plus a main weapon, excluding other turret types that can be attached all over the model. Think Rheinland style turret models would suit due to design and colour.

I can see heās put quite a lot of work into these models. The textures make about 90% of the models because theyāre very detailed so tell him next time you see him that heās done a very nice job.
Are these models free for download ? Cause Iād like to post them for download on my blog if you and Griff are ok with it. If yes, can you upload them somewhere in OBJ or 3DS format ?@Vesko, thx for links, yeah, itās extremely hard to find pics to use as guide for space debris.
-
All models are in OBJ format and very low poly. I agree itās the textures that make these models look as good as they are. Seeing as the models are his and not mine, iād suggest a visit to the forum where heās to be found.

These models are for an ELITE clone called Oolite which is a remake of the old classic but fully modable. Youāll have to register but then you can send him a pm. Same nonsense i went through tbh, but it pays off as Griff is a very nice fella and iām sure heāll say yes.

Hey guys
I made a redesign of an older model of mine for someone, called Xarian Fighter. Basically I made the model very low poly and also applied a texture on it. Unfortunately the project was ended prematurely because of a problem I have with my pc for the past week which is preventing me from finishing the texture. Anyway, if you like the ship, use it and have fun.

Iāve done another redesign of an older model called āKece Industrial Facilityā.
3924 polys

Enjoy

impressive!
-
Nice one, that will make a really good raw materials facility in GE.

Out of curiosity, has anyone managed to do a working sur for the Junker trade lane model by SolCommand? I donāt just mean some weak arsed sur or cheating using phantom physics, but a proper figure hugging one?
-
I did .
-
Glad iām not the only one then. I made one using the OBJ converter but first few attempts and hardcmp kept crashing. Only way i managed it was to cut a few things off the tradelane. Iāll try with the complete model again, maybe it was something i screwed up
-
You must weld some polygons because now i think you obtain only some parts of the model .
I remember i used convex tool of milkshape to reduce some parts that didn`t wanted to work properly. -
Hey guys
Had a quick edit on some older models of mine and released them so if you have any use of them, enjoy
