Random Spawning of Solars in Zones

yes, you could let npc’s look like stations therefore give them an engine they do not move and movement entries just like that the ships cannot move at all. they would fire turrets as simple station and spawn randomly. it is a workaround but no player would ever recognise if they do not spawn just the same often as fighter wings.

My idea was to spawn big mineable asteroids in fields of asteroids. i dont konw why, but the only mineable asteroids are solars, while the other asteroids used in asteroidarch are not mineable.
gisterons idea might work, but an asteroid with shield and scanable? or could I set a different hull type, too?^^

Stations in tradelanes, Stations turning like ships ect.

Psh, or you could have them fly around and be awesome.

its the same as spawning usual npc’s. you just define other models as starships (with adding of needed hp’s ofc, like HpMount) and make a faction fly this thing in a certain formation that would support the size of it’s hitbox. that’s it. in general the very same as spawning custom ship npc’s or battleship enounters.

Yeah, Flak just spawns them as regular NPCs. Just create a ship version of the station by setting up the ship as you always would, simply using the station model instead.
Note however that the station models will need an HpMount to be functional ships for NPC or player use.
