Hack Request - Stop nav map from drawing suns
-
Hi there!
For the Exodus mod, we’re planning on using a bunch of systems to simulate sectors in a single large solar system (try saying that five times fast! :P)
What we’ve got is a sun that’s extremely far out to simulate the sun in the starsphere, but we’ve noticed that even though it’s 500-odd K from the centre of the map, there’s still an extremely large sun point drawn in the corner of the nav map. Now, this is REALLY ugly, as it’s stretched and the sun isn’t even on the map, so we’d like to get rid of it. Does anyone have a hack that can do this?
Thank you,

Have you tried to add the parameter “visit = 128” to the sun?
Visit 128 means, never on NAV Map.
visit 1 means already discovered
visit 0 means not discovered. -
That won’t work with suns, since they are always displayed (it’s how FL Hack’s all objects used to work). Here’s the hack to make it work.
common.dll 0D6738 74->EB = suns will honor the visit flag ~adoxa ```Unfortunately, that also means you have to add "visit = 1" if you want suns visible without having to actually see them (show overrides hide, otherwise I could use a different hack).

Same problem, but I never thought I will to remove the sun from navmap.
As for me, the goodest way to solve this problem is: Move the sun to place like the Kingdom of Far Far Away……maybe humm……starsphere!
Surprised PS: So your mod named Exodus, and i want know Do you mind me use the name “Exodus” as Chapter Name of my Mod? SEE THIS POST
