the process is quite simplei cover the model in 3dsmax
trust me i’m not at all a modeler … i know a couple of things about 3dsmax and the interface, maybe 0.5 % of the software
after that, i import all the boxes in milkshape and i export each one with the msSURExporterV1_1.dll- the sursplicer
- work on the cmp, the same process to put several cmp in one
i’m happy it works, i was confident but ^^ cool
so i’m going back to the bilbringi shipyard now ^^

Looks a bit primitive for a superior species… And its too spiky.
About the texture, I’d prefer to use Nomad rock texture, because originally the Dom’Kavash created the Nomads, so they probably created the structures also.Another topic: I also need an SUR for a dockable base, a Coalition Sleeper Ship. (the model is from Homewold, I just added the Coalition symbol). File is attached.

Hi again men. Could somebody make a proper sur for this thing, please?
In “proper” i mean there is must be a hole in the center to allow ship to pass/dock.
And use model as you wish of course.

we have to draw simples shapes
squares, rectangles, cylinders and spheres
so no, none model is very difficult because you decompose it by simples shapes
the problem are that if your model is complex it’s difficult to see certain parts and you will have a lot of boxes to add in the cmp
but the most “difficult” if i can say it’s to draw in 3dsmax/milkshape
