It probably could be done through the chat system, but that would require a bit of programming for injecting console messages to send a string when a certain speech file is played.Does somebody work on this already? It would be good although I am not experienced in these things.

Whatever the case, this probably has more to do with FLHook than an exe hack, but we will see. Adoxa has already done miracles in the past, so I’m hopeful.

well, adoxa could implement the chat console to SP… however, the speaches are pure sound files, so, adaption of time when a string is displayed and the contents of the string must be edited for every single speach ingame. lots of work, doubt anyone would do it, as afterwards all the relevant information shows up in a window.

I could possibly hook the speech function, using the hash to find the text, but, as Gisteron says, you’d have to transcribe all the speech first. Plus there’s issues of timing, placement… Don’t really fancy it.
From the XML Project, the AUDIO directory contains 3274 unique wav files. Ignoring the story stuff, it drops down to 1800. Assuming an average of 10 seconds, that’s 5 hours just to listen to them!
