Different Jump Tunnels

What should I do to enable different jump tunnel textures? Where do I refer to the TXM file used in the effect? I just cant find it…
Also how do I add light in the end of the tunnel? -
It’s not a texture.
(EDIT: Sorry, yes it is! But that is only clouds and ripples, not the colours. Changing the two .dds materials in it may not give what you want.)
Edit DATA\FX\gate_tunnel.ini - copy the gate_tunnel_bretonia and modify the copies to make your own, change to the new names for the affected jumpgates/jumpholes in your system ini files.
Also edit DATA\FX\jumpeffect.ini to change lighting and timings in entry and transit. Some cool effects can be made, save the ones you want to keep in a text file as you change values, so you don’t forget them.

and then in - fx/gate_tunnel.inishould be possible to make different /new ones, cant say I’vd tried. As Startrader says all lighting fx all control by .ini

What I ment is specificaly the TXM file. If I duplicate it, where do I add it the refer to it in the INI? [Layer] entries?

To change the texture reference you will have to edit the ALE file. You can also change the ALE to a different one. In my mod I used the volcano from the intro planet. It gives a randow effect that changes color as you pass through it.
In jumpeffect.ini these are what you need to find the correct parts…
jump_tunnel_effect - interior of tube
jump_tunnel - tunnel model (mine are much bigger to avoid seeing outside of the tunnel in big ships) -
