Hi, i have some Questions .

1-how i can add in FLHOOK “Welcome Message” like:

welcome to “server name” ,…… ,

2- edit some command and add command.

3- i saw some server added battelship encounter without mod. Is that FLHOOK ?

i get kicked in the system when i added battelship encounter in my mod so i want add it without mod.

4-where i can get FLAC ?

i used FLHook 1.6.5 .

i hope i know all this

2- you have to recompile flhook using its c++ source and a compiler.
3- encounters are server-side only. flhook however checks some files for identity on the server and client so that could cause errors.
4- there are ways to purchase flac, it is not free to use to everyone.

2 - Depends on what kind of command you want to add. Simple text commands should be easy to add, but more complex one of course not.
Note that there might be plugins for what you are going to archieve.

3 - You need to edit the INI files. Try to search for “encounters” in our wiki

4 - On a side note, iirc FLAC is incompatible with FLHook /info

sry but i edited ini files before i did this Thread , i get kicked when i added Nomad encounters .

because (?) they need to be added on the server. if your and the server machine are the same, it’d be helpful to install the official 1.1 patch.

i have no ide how i can add it in the server , i only added it in the mod

well, with the server i meant that you need to apply the mod to the machine where the server software is running.

my mod have two error :

i have friend have problem:
he activated my mod
but if he start fl he have the message:
“insert the correct CD”
he dont have this error with other mods

That means what it says, you have two [simple] entries with the same nickname. Probably because you copied something, e.g. a ship including it’s damage caps (which are simples).

And please uncheck the ‘Enable Smiley’ option when posting code like that…
