Planetary Arch help

I am working on a challenge map mod hoping to put it onto a network server for local multi-player use. That is for another day, but I was wondering, since one of the objects I want to use is a Planetary Arch, is there any way to attach the landing piece to the rest of the asteroid like the developers did in the Tekagi’s Arch mission?

They attached the big asteroid to the landing piece with a parent parameter.

Just add at your big asteroid:
parent = SPACEARCH (whatever the name is in your system)

What ini would this be located in? I was using Freelancer Explorer V2.0.3

I got it to work, but now there is a shield surrounding it. Suggestions?

Go to loadouts.ini in your SOLAR directory.
There you have to look for “space_arch”.
Remove the last both entries.
equip = space_arch_shield_gen01, HpShieldGen01
equip = outer_sanctum_shield, HpShieldFx
