Beta Capship Problems

As the Capships from the Beta have baydoor animations I have been trying to introduce them as player flyable models. The only problem is that when I swap like for like I get an instant CTD when launching to space. Shop setup is fine, I have tested swapping the hardpoints from one model to the next and checked textures and sur files, all with the same result. Checked the models over using utf->xml and they look pretty much the same except for the extra parts. Spew is pretty useless showing only these lines

I don’t know where these are being referenced from as they don’t appear in the any of the models components. The numbers don’t look like any texture I’ve ever seen.
Models I have tried so far are the rh_gunship and the rh_cruiser both with the same results and texture errors. Normal no_bay models launch to space fine.
Any ideas?

I stripped the Gunship down to a single lod and its still bouncing me out of the game. I cant see any difference in the models structure and it imports cleanly into MS. ijdk
Thanks for the tip on the gasminer, I made a dockable model a few years ago but didnt have the tools (or the nerve :D) to make a sur for it -
Great you found this out! I will take a look on this at the weekend. Probably, if nobody can find anything, I will convert those to todays FL, too.
